One man is in the dog house after dumping thirteen newborn puppies in a local gas station dumpster. And get this, an animal shelter was just blocks away. A worker found the pit bull pups and took them to Community Animal Rescue and Adoptions. The owner wasn't hard to find. CARA says his address was on the box the puppies were in. They made a visit to the house and were able to convince the family to give up the mother so the pups can drink their mama's milk. These little guys are now getting some much-needed puppy love. CARA says if you don't want your pets to multiply, you need to get them spayed or neutered. Jackson Animal Control is investigating the incident. The puppies should be ready for adoption in about seven weeks.
