10 years later and the Jackson Free Press continues to published its award winning newspaper and celebrated the people, businesses, music and places that make Jackson the uniquely wonderful city it is.
This years honorees participaed in the 10 year anniversary of the Best of Jackson...it was held Sunday Night at the King Edward Hotel. The event dates back back to the year of 2002.
This years subscribers to the Free Press voiced in more than 175 categories including first time winner Colendula Green Spokesperson of the Jackson Police Department.
Green along with almost 100 hundred other winners were delighted to receive this prestigious award, Green says its a true statement about the way the citizens of Jackson feel about some of its leading citizens.
Some of Jackson's top restaurants participated along with Capital City Beverages of Jackson.
